Brooks Getting Surgery
So they allowed Brooks to have the surgery today, luckily Dr. Tagge said that he would be just fine and went against what the anesthesiologist said. His cough was more in his upper throat and so he figured there would be no complications and since the surgery was only five minutes or so, he wouldn't be that long under anesthetic.
Everything went fine and when Brooks came out of the anesthesia he didn't cry at all, his Sisters sure did. We had to stay a little longer since he had the cough but they let us go after about an hour and he has been fine ever since.

Playing the waiting game
Waiting to see If the doctor will let Brooks have surgery today. He still has his cough and a little fever, were hoping for the best. Here are a few pictures of Brooks taken with my phone using some old time photo philters.

Valentines 2011
I woke up early this morning and went to the store to get a few things for breakfast since I didn't feel like waking up at 4:00 in the morning to make Cinnamon Rolls. When the girls woke up they were surprised with the rolls, eggs and fresh Orange Juice. After I left for work Aly was able to go help at Isabelle's school for a couple of hours doing Valentines stuff and even took Isabelle out of school a little early! Isabelle was so happy to get Valentines from her class because after visiting family on Sunday and giving everyone Valentines she didn't really get any in return. She was pretty upset but Monday more than made up for it!
Aly and I didn't want to brave the crowds tonight for dinner so we celebrated our Valentines on Friday by going to dinner and a movie. Tonight Aly made a really good dinner of Chicken Crepes and then the kids received their Valentine presents. The girls got Fancy Nancy pajamas and Brooks got some treats and duckies to play with.

This is how Brooks wakes up
Brooks has learned to pull his bumper away from the corner of his bed and so most mornings we find him like this just waiting for someone to come and get him:
He doesn't want to miss anything that is going on!
