Disneyland Day One

We left for Disneyland today at 11:30 and got to California at 12:45.  It took some time getting out the door but luckily the airport wasn't to busy and we were able to go past the huge security line since we had kids.  Grandma LeeAnn was supposed to be on our flight but everything changed when Deanne and her family decided to drive down at the last minute.  On Monday night it was just going to be us and then late Monday they decided to go.  LeeAnn decided to drive with them so we had to make up a story to the girls that Grandma couldn't get on our same flight, little did they know that later she would show up with Hanna, Colby and Alexa.  Everyone did great on the flight and once off the plane we got a taxi and headed to the Hyatt in Orange County.

After getting our room and some lunch at the hotel restaurant we headed to Disney.  Right away a ton of characters were out and we were able to see someone we hadn't seen before, the Red Queen.  After seeing her, Micky, Donald Duck, Alice and the Mad Hatter we headed to Gracie's favorite ride....teacups.  After a few more rides everyone had arrived and so I went and gave them their tickets and the girls shopped for a bracelet not knowing a thing.  They all waited outside and then Isabelle and Gracie walked out and got quite the surprise.  Isabelle was pretty shocked and both were excited to have some Cousins to spend the next few days with.

The park closed early that night so we didn't have much time but we went on Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Indiana and then got some dinner  and headed back to the Hotel.  Early this morning Annette decided that she would come too, so they loaded up the Suburban with Ashley, Parker, Bronson, Zac and Tyler and arrived tonight around 11:30.  Within 24 hours we went from 7 people to 16!  It should be a fun couple of days.
